About Us

OUR VISION

Our vision is for everyone to encounter Christ, undergo life transformation through God’s power, and experience the Love of God. Chapel of Light is the transformation ground where people reconcile to God and fulfill their earthly purpose.

Led by the Holy Spirit, instructed by the Word of God, and filled with the Lord’s power, we aim to reach the community of Northampton and its environs. Through various ministries, including people empowerment, music outreaches, and facilitating the youth, we hope to change our environment.

We believe in the full power of the Word of God and that it wasn’t just for the people in Jesus’ time, but to breathe new life and new hope into the people of this generation. We see a future where the Church is overflowing with children of God longing for a divine encounter.

OUR MISSION

Mark 16:15 inspires our mission to bring God’s love and salvation to the world. Our deepest prayer and purpose is for every person on Earth to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus.

Chapel of Light derives its foundational ethos from the verse “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favour with God and man” (Luke 2:52).

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. (Gen 1:3-5) We believe that the Light of God is essential to living of a life of dominion and excellence. (John 1:5-9)

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
  • We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God
  • We believe Jesus was crucified, suffered death, and buried. After three days, he resurrected, ascended to heaven, and now sits at the Father’s right hand.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God.

We believe in the Bible and seek to operate within the best principles and practices set out in the Bible.

PURPOSE

We seek to operate with purpose at the centre of all that we do; by demonstrating in word and action God’s creative abilities and enabling people to unleash their inherent gifts of God for themselves.

CARING

We are caring, and seek to treat our guests and team members with care, compassion, and dignity. We are ambassadors of the Gospel and are not judges of people.

EXCELLENCE

We always aim for excellence, as we seek to operate to the highest possible standards within the law, wisely using the resources at our disposal.
